Susan the Gardener
Twenty-three and nineteen years ago, I planted
two oak saplings, which I named Jenna and Kate.
I fertilized them, protected them, cultivated them,
and provided them with a fertile environment.
For ten years, I dedicated myself exclusively to
their care. They have grown into two strong,
mature trees.
My work is done. They no longer need my
gardening services, so I concentrate my
caregiving skills on tending to other forests -
