To activate the populace for delicious, healthy eating, I led the following:
- Re-branded the product with new name, packaging, positioning, and retail store
design,
- Improved product offering by introducing a revised menu with 50% new meals
and four new meal plan programs,
- Introduced direct response TV, print and mail campaigns,
- Standardized distributor sales training program and materials,
- Tested the Alpha site of the corporate store and expansion into two Beta sites.
To supply the populace with these meals, I managed 50+ production workers and
30 distributors

Power to those who believe so strongly in an idea that
they start their own business to make their dream a
reality and bring it to others. I wanted to become part
of this revolutionary movement of entrepreneurs.
So I joined a small company called Freshly Yours; a
$3MM fresh food manufacturer and distributor of
healthy, calorie-controlled, fully prepared meals that
could be used for weight loss or healthy eating. I
became part of a team that repositioned the brand and
converted the organization from a production oriented,
mom-and-pop operation to a consumer driven,
professional organization. We entertained potential
strategic partnerships with Jenny Craig,
Nutri/System and Physicians' Weight Loss.
